HSB promotes “A Healthy Workforce in A Safe Workplace” in our organization by emphasizing the well-being of our Employees through engaging regular conversations and initiatives like peer support groups, mentor/buddy system and team bonding activities to strengthen their relationship. The management supports work-life balance by allowing flexible and staggered working hours. Bi-yearly psychometric assessments allow the management to review and render assistance to employees when necessary. Our mental wellbeing policy calls for confidential periodic review of employees’ mental well-being and ensure no discrimination.
HSB promotes learning opportunities for employees through internal and external trainings. Having our own Training Centre, we aim to create a fair and inclusive environment by maintaining optimal classroom settings and conducting the right type of training based on individual training needs. Self-initiated trainings by employees will be treated fairly and with equal opportunities. Quality training and education boost employees’ self-confidence, mental well-being and improve productivity.
The management practices gender equality to ensure no discrimination by empowering women individuals to lead in their field of work.
HSB uses of Solar Energy at our HQ and project offices since 2021. We are moving towards adopting the use of this sustainable alternative energy for our subsequent new projects set up wherever possible.
The management of HSB embarks on technology and innovative digitalization journey since 2017. We continue to explore reliable and innovative methods to ensure sustainability in the work we do, improve productivity and track our Environment Health and Safety performance. Our perseverance and determination are rewarded with a few innovation awards.
HSB works with arborist to maximise trees protection and conservation wherever possible. Fauna and Flora Assessment would be conducted by specialist consultants to identify potential impact due to our construction works and animals affected by the work area would be shepherded out during the construction phase.
