Clarifications: Misinformation or fraudulent circular regarding Hwa Seng Builder Pte Ltd (“HSB”) Demand Letter for Supply of Workers
It was brought to our attention that a “Demand Letter” dated 05 Aug 2020, issued by a “Sr Manager (HRD) of HSB” circulating via text messaging platforms and social media, which claimed that HSB has the full authority to request for supply of workers from recipients, and that a list of ten (10) occupations with monthly salaries were indicated in the letter.
Please note that HSB did NOT issue any letter or statement of such.
Recipients of the fraudulent letter should not be misled and are advised to contact HSB’s HR department via email address hsb@hwaseng.com.sg for clarifications, if required. HSB will not be liable or responsible for any transactions, including business transactions, collection of monies or personal particulars, in relation to the aforesaid fraudulent letter.
In addition, a police report has been made against the fraudster for forgery. Hence, recipients of the circular are advised not to further spread such information.
