HSB hosted its highly anticipated Annual Dinner 2025, a Masquerade Party held at The Gallery, Grand Hyatt Singapore. The evening was filled with excitement, entertainment and a special recognition for Long Service Award recipients for their contributions throughout the years. The event kicked off with engaging pre-dinner activities, leading into a grand dinner.
This year, a total of 13 staffs received their Long Service Award, commemorating their dedication and achievements in the company. The most eagerly awaited event was the lucky draw. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of our sponsors for their generous support for making it possible!
A significant moment of the night was the launch of SMART Bear, HSB’s official company mascot, representing EHS responsibility. SMART stands for:
To commemorate the launch, blind boxes with two special figurines were given out: Safety SMART Bear and One Team One Spirit (OTOS) Bear, symbolizing HSB’s commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
In celebration of Singapore World Water Day 2025, multiple activities were organised during the month of March. On the 1 March 2025, some of our staff participated in the Kayak ‘N’ Klean event at PAssion Wave @ Jurong Lake Gardens. The activity aims to promote environmental awareness on the preservation of our waterways through an engaging and hands-on cleanup activity.
The event kicked off with an insightful Project Blue Wave sharing session, followed by a safety briefing and preparation of kayaks. Participants then took to the waters, launching their kayaks and actively picking up litter while kayaking along Jurong Lake Gardens. Various types of trash were collected, including empty plastic bottles, beer cans, balls, wrappers, and other waste, making a significant impact on keeping the waterways clean.
Staffs from HSB also participated in the PUB Water Day Event on the 8 March 2025 held at Our Tampines Hub. This year’s theme “Our Water Makes Event Moment Count”, in celebration of SG60, aims to reflect on Singapore’s water journey and recognising the essential role water plays in our daily lives, to sustaining business operations across key industries. The Guest-of-Honour, Mr. Gan Kim Yong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry, graced the event and reminded everyone on the importance of having a sustainable water supply in Singapore to match its demand. HSB extends its gratitude to all participants and looks forward to organizing more initiatives that foster environmental responsibility and teamwork.
